What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions lengthen, thicken and enhance your own natural eyelashes. This procedure involves attaching single strands of synthetic eye lashes, one by one, to your own individual eyelashes for a dazzling look. The lashes are curved to replicate a natural eyelash and come in different lengths, thickness and curl to suit the look you are after.
  
How long does it take?
Depending on the set chosen, a full set of eyelashes takes approximately an hour and a half to apply. It requires meticulous precision and the amount of time taken will depend on the number of eyelashes to be attached and the look you desire.

How long will my eyelash extensions last?
With proper application and aftercare, your lash extensions should last the full growth cycle of your natural eyelashes, however this differs from person to person. Your natural lashes are all at different stages of the growth cycle and falls off every 45-60 days (taking with it your eyelash extension) and replaced with a new eyelash. Depending on your eyelashes and growth cycle, you will lose approximately 1-3 lashes per day. Other factors explained in the ‘Do’s and Dont’s’ section such as exposure to steam, touching and rubbing your eyelashes a lot will cause your extensions to fall out quicker. A touch up will be required to replace the extensions that have fallen off. Touch-ups are recommended every 2-4 weeks to keep your lashes looking full and luscious. Any longer than this you may require a full set; however you decide when you want your lashes in filled.

Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa whilst wearing eyelash extensions?
Yes, however I would recommend that you wait at least 24 hours and take special care when you do come in contact with water, such as wearing goggles and avoiding the direct jet of water onto the lashes when in the shower.
